We worked at the same place for six years without ever crossing paths, and probably would’ve continued that way if not for our coworkers. Our numbers were exchanged—sight unseen—through them, and we began texting. That’s when we started to intertwine. We fit together and complemented each other so well that, even if there had been nothing romantic, we knew we’d at least be great friends.
Luckily, when we finally met face to face, the spark was there—and it has since grown into a bright, shining beacon illuminating our future together. We were together just shy of a year when we got engaged, although in our hearts, we knew it could have been much sooner.
Now, as we step unwaveringly into matrimony, we look forward to spending the rest of our lives together, our love for one another growing with each passing day.
